This 100% seed block is excellent for squirrel prone areas, as squirrels generally don’t like safflower. These blocks are preferred by cardinals, grosbeaks and more, while grackles, sparrows, and starlings generally don’t like safflower.

Offer these in the Mr.Bird NeatFeeder (item 801) or on a platform feeder, it can’t be kicked all over the place like loose seed can.

Hole in the center of the cake allows it to be used on the EZFeeder (800) or Cylinder Feeder (803).

No waste, no mess, never melt.

Attracts birds much more quickly than suet and without the problem of melting in the summer heat. Great for year-round bird feeding.

Contains 100% Safflower. Mount with a Mr. Bird EZFeeder (Item #800).  Attracts birds such as chickadees, titmice, cardinals, house finches, and more. Safflower is typically not attractive to grackles, blackbirds and squirrels.

72 oz.

Ingredients: Safflower, and gelatin.

The Safflower Small Cylinder (9863) is the ultimate "problem-solver" for Michigan bird feeding stations. Safflower is widely known as the "miracle seed" because it has a bitter taste that squirrels, raccoons, and even "bully" birds like Common Grackles and European Starlings generally dislike.

However, your favorite colorful songbirds—especially Northern Cardinals, Tufted Titmice, and Chickadees—absolutely love it. This 1.9lb cylinder format is highly compressed, ensuring it lasts much longer than loose seed and stays put even during the gusty winds of a Great Lakes spring.

Why You’ll Love It

• Natural Deterrent: Effectively filters out unwanted guests at your feeder without the use of spicy additives or expensive cages.

• Bulk Value: This listing covers 12 cases, making it an ideal stock-up choice for the peak winter and spring feeding seasons.

• Long-Lasting Convenience: The solid cylinder format prevents "hulling and tossing" by birds, meaning the food lasts longer and creates less waste on the ground.

• Weather Resistant: Held together with high-quality food-grade gelatin that won't melt in the humid Michigan summer or fall apart in the snow.

Pro Tips for the Michigan Birder

• Cardinal Magnet: If you want to see more Northern Cardinals, place this cylinder in a quiet area of your yard. They are particularly fond of safflower and will visit frequently once they find it.

• Feeder Compatibility: Fits perfectly on any standard cylinder feeder or spindle. For a unique look, it can also be placed on a flat platform feeder.

• Transition Tip: If your birds are used to sunflower seeds, it may take them a few days to adjust to a 100% safflower cylinder. Once they start, they will be loyal visitors.

Bring birds and a beach motif to your fence or wall using this Achla Scalloped Shell Bird Bath with Wall Bracket. The fantastic shape of this lovely, aluminum bath mimics a seashell, while its verdigris and copper tones add a luxurious hint. A metal bird figurine rests on the edge of this basin, and its lifted tail and forward gaze bring height and personality to the piece. Raised ridges inside the bowl begin near this figurine and extend outward, creating not only texture for small songbirds; these lines also correspond to notches in the top rim, forming the classic seashell design. The verdigris finish with gray accents lends an antique element to this bowl, and its 1.75" depth enables birds to safely bathe and preen. A curved edge on the 0.75" wide, metal rim contrasts the green interior, and offers perching spots for larger birds. Place this durable bath onto the included, wrought iron wall bracket using the threaded base port. Two predrilled holes on this sturdy arm enable you to attach it to a wall, fence post, or other flat, vertical surface easily, and the piece arches 7.5" outward for great clearance. An upright thread is specifically designed to accommodate the included bird bath, and the black, powder coated finish keeps this bracket durable and usable for several seasons. The aluminum construction of the bath forms a robust accent, and this bowl unscrews from the mounting arm for cleaning or other maintenance. The brown and verdigris hues lend sumptuous style to your yard, and the familiar shell shape bolsters the seaside hint. Provide birds a water source and highlight the seashore by placing this Scalloped Shell Bird Bath with Wall Bracket in your yard. Some assembly required.

Seed Bell Hanger to fit all Mr. Bird seed bells. LOW cost HIGH margin.

An empty hanger in the backyard is a constant reminder to buy more bells!

You can link them together to create a variety of bell treats for the birds.

This is Mr.Bird’s take on the traditional Mexican sugar skulls or calavera. These have been used for centuries to honor and commemorate the departed.

Instead of sugar our calaveras are made of solid safflower seed and sunflower hearts then hand decorated with delectable fruit and other edibles. The birds eat them all!

A different and delightful year-round treat for the birds.

Each skull has a jute hanger.
